Last updated: September 2026

This Transparency Report is published by LISA Film GmbH in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act, DSA), in particular Articles 15, 24, and 42. It covers content moderation activities, user reports, government and law enforcement requests, automated systems, and the appeal process for the reporting period of 1 January 2026 to 30 June 2026 (H1 2026).

1. Content Moderation Policies
LISA Film GmbH maintains comprehensive content moderation policies designed to ensure a safe, lawful, and respectful environment for all users. Our policies prohibit the following categories of content:

(a) Illegal content: Material that violates applicable Austrian, EU, or international law, including but not limited to content depicting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), terrorist content, content inciting violence or hatred against protected groups, and content infringing intellectual property rights.

(b) Terms of Service violations: Content that violates our Terms of Service, including spam, harassment, impersonation, distribution of malware, and unauthorized redistribution or recording of streamed content.

(c) Harmful content: Content that, while not necessarily illegal, is harmful or inappropriate for the platform, including misleading health-related claims, dangerous challenges, and graphic violence not suitable for the intended audience classification.

(d) Copyright infringement: Unauthorized uploads, redistribution, or public performance of copyrighted material. CZWTV operates a notice-and-action mechanism in compliance with both EU and US (DMCA) frameworks.

Content moderation is carried out by a combination of trained human moderators and automated detection systems. All final decisions on content removal are reviewed by qualified human moderators. Content moderation decisions are made without regard to the nationality, place of residence, or political affiliation of the user.

4. Automated Content Recognition Systems
LISA Film GmbH employs the following automated systems to assist in content moderation:

(a) Audio and video fingerprinting: We use digital fingerprinting technology to detect unauthorized copies of licensed content. This system compares uploaded or streamed content against a reference database of copyrighted works provided by our content partners. In H1 2026, the system automatically flagged 2,147 instances for human review, of which 1,893 (88.2%) were confirmed as infringements and actioned.

(b) Hash-matching (CSAM): In compliance with EU and Austrian law, we deploy hash-matching technology (PhotoDNA and similar) to detect and prevent the distribution of known child sexual abuse material. Any detected match is immediately reported to the Austrian Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt) and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

(c) Spam and fraud detection: Automated filters identify and flag suspicious account activity, including bulk account creation, credential stuffing, and fraudulent payment attempts.

(d) Automated age verification: Content classified under the Austrian Youth Protection Act (Jugendschutzgesetz) is gated by automated age verification mechanisms tied to the user's account.

All automated detection systems are subject to human oversight. No content is removed solely on the basis of an automated decision. Users whose content or accounts are affected by automated detection will be notified and may appeal in accordance with Section 5 below.

5. Appeal Process
Any user who is the subject of a content moderation decision — including content removal, content restriction, account suspension, or account termination — has the right to appeal that decision. Appeals are handled in accordance with Article 20 of the Digital Services Act.

How to file an appeal:
(a) Via the in-app appeal function: Within 6 months of the moderation decision, navigate to the notification email or your account's Moderation History section and select “Appeal this decision.”

(b) Via email: Send a written appeal to [email protected] with the subject line “Content Moderation Appeal” including your account email, a description of the decision you are appealing, and the grounds for your appeal.

Appeal review process:
All appeals are reviewed by a qualified human moderator who was not involved in the original decision. We aim to provide a reasoned response to each appeal within ten (10) business days. The user will be notified of the outcome by email and through the platform.
